The Magic took out the lowly New Jersey Nets last night and Matt Barnes contributed to the cause with a solid double double effort. The odd thing about his double double was that is was 13 points and 13 rebounds and he did it on Friday the 13th. It more interesting than anything else, but the 13 rebounds lead the team, which is impressive due to Dwight Howard being his team mate. Howard had 12 rebounds, which is solid,  but his 5 blocks set the tone. It’s a good sign and hopefully he can lead by example and other players will step up their defensive efforts.
