With Kevin Garnett out for up to 3 weeks can the Orlando Magic make up the ground and take over the #2 seed in the east?
I’m not saying the Celtics still aren’t good team, but without Kevin Garnett in the line up it’s like Dorothy (Rajon Rondo), the The Tin Man (Ray Allen), The Scarecrow (Paul Pierce) and Toto (Kendrick Perkins). Where’s the heart? Nobody wants to win more than Garnett. I thought Kobe had heart, but last year’s finals proved who had the bigger sack and who could will his team to the crown.
It’s early in my Bromace with Rafer Alston, but all signs are pointing to this guy is an excellent fit for this team. After the second game he was making the extra pass and hardly looking for his own shot. He’s averaging 8.5 assists and he’s getting the ball to shooters and making them better. Lewis and Turkoglu together went 8 of 12 from 3 point land against the Heat on Sunday. Hedo looks so happy you’d think he was eating his mom’s Turkish kebaps and kofte. If shooters can open the paint up for Dwight Howard, he’ll dominate the paint, period.
The next 6 games are very favorable for the Magic and they could easily come in with an 8 game win streak for their March 8th match up against B”oz”ston. Celtic fan you better hope KG comes back and is ready for the stretch and the playoffs or it might be an early exit this year.
