So I’m watching Chris Paul just break down the Orlando Magic and between borderline inibreation and this brutal ass kicking I start to think. I think about how much I miss Jameer Nelson, but then I think Paul would have killed him too. I think about Thursday’s trade deadline and I wish Terry Porter was still coaching the Suns, because they just might have dismantled the team and Nash would have possibly filled in nicely for Jameer, but after scoring 140 I don’t think Nash or Stoudermire goes anywhere.

I think about how we aquired Lue and I can remember watching Laker games and it sounded like everyone was booing when he played, but that was 11 years ago and Chick Hearns was still kicking, barely. Chick could still differentiate one player from another back then too. Sorry Lue you’re not the answer and neither is the “answer”.

Over the last 6 games, not including tonight, the Magic are 3-3, but with loss to the Nuggets at home, barely scraping by the Bobcats and struggling tonight against a short handed Hornets team we are struggling. If we don’t shore up the PG position, we’ll probably make the playoffs, but it will surely be a first round exit.

Teams only get so many chances to make a run and even though competition is tough in the east, the Magic need to make the trade for a legitamite PG and make a run at it. Time for another beer.
